The success is synonymous with task management. The management would help you finish all your tasks in predefined time limit without causing any delays. The task management can be successfully done in 10 easy steps as mentioned here.
1). Fix the time Span – Fix the time for which you want to make a to-do list. This time can be for a day, week, month or a year.
2). Note down the tasks – For a given time, note down all the tasks that you need to finish. These tasks can be anything from doing a laundry to submitting the tender.
3). Arrange as per priority – Arrange the listed tasks as per their respective priority. Make a fair note of these tasks.
4). Allot the time limit – The task management is properly done only if each task is completed in the decided time. The time limit should therefore be decided for each task noted in the list.
5). Make a Flow Chart – Once you have decided the tasks and the time limit, you can make a flow chart of the given tasks for better understanding.
6). Start from the first task – Start from the first task and head towards the following tasks. Try to finish the co-related tasks simultaneously to save time.
7). Stick to time limit – Stick to the time limit while completing the tasks. If you have taken more time for one task then try to compensate time in other.
8). Highlight the finished task – Make a point that you highlight each task that you finish. The highlighting can be done with a different color pen.
9). Check if you have highlighted all tasks – Check if all the tasks are highlighted. The to-do list is complete once all the tasks are highlighted.
10). Check your success – Check the success of your task management for future reference.
